Or at least consider the following few questions...
Shouldn't I be at least a little worried?
Yet if I'm not too worried at this point, then try asking yourself these questions and see if you have the answers.
Be honest, and don't be overly optomistic or in denial that everything will be just fine.
1) How do I know that I will have enough money to last my lifetime? Or when will it run out? At what age?
2) How much will I be paying in Taxes during my Retirement? (since Taxes will be going up)
Same tax bracket I'm in now? Or without all my Deductions, will I be in a higher tax bracket then?
3) Could I possibly need long-term care? To what age have my parents, family & relatives been living to?
How old willdo I think that I or my spouse live to? Could I afford Skilled Nursing Care or will I be living where I did not want to end up? At a State run Convalescent Home?
4) Could I possibly have to change my lifestyle in my golden years due to less income? Less money, less vacations, less dining out, less being able to do what I want, when I want, how I want and where I want?
5) If you only have your 401(k)s & IRAs, is enough invested in there? How much do I need to have monthly during retirement to live on? And how long will it last before I run out?
6) How much in Taxes will you have to pay to withdrawl from your 401(k)s or IRAs or your forced Required Minimum Distributions that were at 70 1/2 yrs. old (now @ 72 yrs. old) per the Government?
